Do I really need a health insurance? Yes, you do.
Coming to Canada with future hopes and standard of living is every newcomer dream. Most of the new immigrants don’t understand the value of health insurance. Health insurance premiums are costly to maintain and tends most people to not go with paying the insurance. It is hard to manage all expenses and it is usual to go out of money. Even though there are reasons that make to feel to go without the insurance it has severe consequences to be faced.
Medical insurances are expensive because they do work in that way, they save you a whole lot of medical debt. Majority of newcomer youngsters feel we have never been to the hospital and feel healthy but even a small accident from the bicycle leave you in a large amount of the medical bill.
There are other hard ways to skip the medical insurance. But, before you skip them think twice is that worth.
Governments started new acts and health care plans
Affordable insurance plans have been implemented for the youngsters which provide various options. You can find important information here.
There are laws to fine the personals without the insurances, if you do not get one you will regret it later.
Choose what's right for you
Canada is very generous country, especially for new immigrants. The market provides various options with different level premiums. I do feel like insurances are more expensive pick the one with lowest monthly insurance which obviously will have a high deductible, but it will save a whole lot of fortune when are facing unexpected medical bills. Invest some savings for the health protection.
When we have the medical bills are covered we have the opportunity to save ourselves with the minor things and prevent them transforming into bigger things. When we have a chance of preventions and avoid big stays in hospital, why do we need to ignore insurances? Trust me hospitals are not best places to take vacations.
